Using COS to toggle blocking of Internal/External Calls

Using COS to toggle blocking of Internal/External Calls

Using COS to toggle blocking of Internal/External Calls

(OP)
Hi there,

We have a range of analog sets that are currently configured with CLS CTD and CCSA-CSA. We then have some phones programmed with a COS key which we toggle against whichever DN we want to disable or enable. We would like to have it so when we disable a DN, prevent the person from dialing externally and receiving external calls. When we enable the DN they can both send and receive calls externally. Internal calls should always work regardless.

I've found that with CLS CTD it will block the user from dialing externally but they can still receive external calls.
FR1 will prevent the user from receiving external calls but they can still place them. Wondering if it is possible to sort of combine these 2 functions.

Heres what one of the TN's of a set looks like

RE: Using COS to toggle blocking of Internal/External Calls

Not sure about remotely but if visiting the phones you can use electronic lock, with that you can set it to FR1 and alter the NCOS (FR1 stopping inbound while NCOS sets the outbound to whatever you want to allow (emergency etc.)).
