Client wants to call forward and incoming call to a cell phone of an outside salesperson. They want the receptionist to do the call forwarding. They are not interested in using the call forward to cell phone feature by way of extension. Extension Call Forwarded to Cell phone. In the old days we would hit the switch hook, draw second dial tone, call the outside parties cell phone number. What is the best way to do that with a Partner system? The dial tone provider would have to have call forwarding feature on their incoming/outgoing dial tone.

RE: Call Forwarding Partner ACS R7

The dial tone provider would have to provision "Centrex" type features, specifically Call Transfer Disconnect

Quote:

Call Transfer Disconnect offers three-way calling with the additional capability of transferring the call. It allows you to disconnect from a three-way call without disconnecting the remaining parties.

Then you add a flash button (Feature 03) to the phones, press it, dial the salesman's cell, and hang up once it starts ringing, or wait until the salesman answers, announce the call, and hang up.
