OfficeLinx question

OfficeLinx question

OfficeLinx question

(OP)
I know we don't have a sub here for OfficeLinx, but I know quite a few people here have it.

My question is, how do I stop a mailbox from allowing callers to leave a message? My user just wants an announcement. Do I need to make it a menu or is there a setting on the mailbox that I'm missing?

Thanks

RE: OfficeLinx question

You could do this within the locations tab of the person's mailbox.
Open the Locations Tab.
Then go to the Set Current Location Tab
Check off Override my locations calendar and set the current location.
Set the current location to In Office
Go to the Locations List tab
Double click In office
Open the Location Greetings Tab
Under options you will see Do not allow callers to leave messages.
Check this off and click OK
Click Save on the mailbox.
You may want to test this before deploying.
