i2050 headset

i2050 headset

(OP)
is anyone successfully using the GN/Netcom (nortel) mobile hedset with the i2050 and the latest rendition of windows 10?
i have a customer that juts hired a "new IT manager" that is trying to get one working
windows doesn't seem to be recognizing the headset no matter what drivers he tries to load
i directed him to the Jabra headset site which had support numbers
i doubt he tried the support numbers but i thought i'd try here to see if someone actually has it working in a win10 enviroment
any insight is appreciated

RE: i2050 headset

What model number is the headset's adapter?

Edit - never mind I see it NTEX14MBE6

RE: i2050 headset

For me, the blue Nortel USB adapter stopped working when I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Device drivers included in Windows 10 do not recognize the USB device properly.

RE: i2050 headset

I wonder if the Algo's Nortel version works.
NTEX14AB

I had my Logitech wireless usb working with 2050.

RE: i2050 headset

It's not an issue with Windows, it's a headset USB adapter that is 20 years old so they do not create drivers for Windows anymore.

I have the the newer version (made by Algo this time) - NTEX14AB, will test it soon as I can just for the record.

RE: i2050 headset

Turns out mine was handy

I can confirm the Algo NTEX14AB Nortel USB Adapter works on Windows 10 - 64 Bit
I was using 2050 soft phone software version 2.0
