IP Office incoming call flow

IP Office incoming call flow

Is it possible to have the receptionist phone ring and if not answered the AA pickup with options ? Right now I have incoming route pointing to 200main which is the incoming hunt group. The receptionist is phone is a member of it.

RE: IP Office incoming call flow

Pretty basic stuff -

Embedded voicemail:
Create a short code that points to the Auto Attendahnt
Create a phantom user that is forwarded unconditionally (including hunt group calls) to that short code
Create a sequential hunt group and put that user in it
Make that hunt group the overflow group for 200 Main

Voicemail Pro
Add a Leave action for Main to your AA module

Created short code *7998
Added a phantom user 7999 that forwards unconditionally to to *7998
Created a sequential hunt group and in the extension field entered 7998 and for user inserted 201 which is the admins ext
on the overflow tab selected 200 main

Does this look correct ? I have to wait until later to test.

RE: IP Office incoming call flow

Good until " and for user inserted 201 which is the admins ext on the overflow tab selected 200 main"

Here's the call flow:

Incoming Call Route destination is 200-Main

Overflow for 200 Main is Hunt Group 7998

Hunt Group 7998 is sequential and has only Ext. 7999 as a member

Ext. 7999 is Unconditionally Forwarded (including Hunt Group calls) to *7998

Short Code *7998 points to the Auto Attendant

I set it up just as you mentioned, sounds like it forwards to a user voice mail

Still not going to the attendant

RE: IP Office incoming call flow

Your AA shortcode is wrong

Should be AA:AUTO not #201, which will forward to the voicemail of 201
