External destination route back on no answer

External destination route back on no answer

Hi all ,

first of all thank you very much for your contributions on this forum and hopefully I can contribute too.

Is there a way to re-route a call passed on to an external destination (extension or group) by ipocc to ip office after a certain number of rings and redirect to another external destinations ? I know this is the normal behavior of an agent but we only need this temporarily and do not need the functionality of an agent license.

thank you very much in advance .

Regards,

RE: External destination route back on no answer

If you transfer it to a huntgroup in IP Office that can handle what happens next, no need to do this in IPOCC.

Hi Janni78 ,

Thank you very much for your reply , I missed the most important part .

The only reason we want to do this is for reporting purposes . Once we transfer to an external destination let's say a hunt group , on the contact Center reports we only get that the call has been transferred to a hunt group and cannot see who answered the call . We can probably pull the information and match on both systems but it would be a lot easier to get that information from one source .Sorry for not mentioning the reason.

Regards
