Send a HTTP posting/call event to SMS gateway after agent hung up phone?

Send a HTTP posting/call event to SMS gateway after agent hung up phone?

Hello,

I am looking for some help to explain what is required to design a call flow/task flow in the IPOCC system after an agent hung up the phone.

I believe it is not available outright in the IPOCC as we need some external system like Tapi server to monitor the call event.

My customer would like the IPOCC system to send to the SMS gateway after call complete. It can be an http URL posting or an email to trigger the SMS gateway to send out SMS messages/SMS survey.

Many Thanks!

You could do it with TAPI although it would probably be tricky to trace the call that way.

Best way would be to use IPOCC Web Services and create an application the uses that.

Thanks Janni78!

I understand the IPOCC agent UI can open a webpage containing variables. The issue is the agent UI open page at the beginning of a call so we may need the sms vendor to built some delay in sending out sms.

BTW, how can we monitor an outbound dialler to send sms or notification after 2 unanswered attempt?

Thanks again!
