911 calling on a Merlin Legend

911 calling on a Merlin Legend

911 calling on a Merlin Legend

(OP)
Manufacturing plant has several phones out on their floor. These phones have been restricted from outgoing calling however, there is an issue now since they cannot do 911 dialing.
Would I have to just release the restriction or is there another way around this to get a call through to 911
Merlin legend 2.something.

RE: 911 calling on a Merlin Legend

Add 911 to an allowed list and assign that list to the phones

RE: 911 calling on a Merlin Legend

(OP)
These are analog phones on the system.

Would they have to dial a 9 first to get to an outside line and then dial or will the system(not likely) just take the 911 and make the call?

Or do I have to put 9911 in the allow list?

RE: 911 calling on a Merlin Legend

They will need to dial 9911 on the Legend with analog phones.
