Unable to Open Embedded File Management

Unable to Open Embedded File Management

Unable to Open Embedded File Management

(OP)
Hi

IP Control Unit 10.1SP3
I am unable to login to Embedded File Management
Get the following error: HTTP request failed: ConnectFailure

Not sure what could cause this- Have an issue with Soft Console not been able to logon either -could these 2 issues be related?

Thanks

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

Are you connecting locally or remotely?

Embedded file management uses HTTP and HTTPS ports 80 and 443 respectively so these need to be open on your network/firewall.

ACSS|AIPS|APSS

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

remotely - according to the client they ports are open but i cannot fully confirm that - could this be the cause of the soft console not logging in?

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

I'd check in the IPO security settings, change the HTTP and Webservices settings to Unsecure+Secure.

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

Yes agree..change the security settings for http as stated.

New iPo are set to secure high preventing access to the embedded file management.

Soft console uses the same security

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

thank you

the security settings are set to secure unsecure as above

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

Hi Aadila

your reply..?????

Does that mean it was set to unsecure -secure
or
you changed it to Unsecure-secure.

Big Question is ----is it now working.

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

(OP)
it is set to unsecure secure- still not working tho

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

that's a pity

suggestion---set the http back to secure and save
reset it back to unsecure+secure and save.

I have had to do this before for a setting to take..

next --try a reboot of the ipo when its done.
you never know.

RE: Unable to Open Embedded File Management

Set the filemanager ip adres to 255.255.255.255
