How to pause or stop refresh using Crystal Reports version 10

(OP)
Large data is taking a long time to refresh. I want to be able to stop the refresh to continue to modify my report. [Esc] does not pause it.

How do I to pause or stop refresh using Crystal Reports version 10?

RE: How to pause or stop refresh using Crystal Reports version 10

If I recall correctly (been a while since I used CR 10). Under File-Options, Database tab. Select 'Perform Query Asynchronously'. This should allow you to stop the processing of a report.

Also, if you work in design mode, the report won’t refresh until you preview the report.
