Hi All.

I am trying to create a new user on a one x portal.

I've logged into the one-x portal, selected users, however the little create user button is greyed out.
I've looked through what documentation I have, but can't find any way to turn it on.

Any ideas?

Regards

Yes, do it from the IPO. Give the user a proper license and then it will be enabled by itself.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hi tlpeter:

The user is a power user, enable one-x portal services is checked, enable mobility is checked, enable voip client is checked.

There is another user who has the same type of one-x phone, his works. It has all of the same settings.

Regards

It can take some time to sync.
You can force it but i do not know the setting of that from the top of my head.

@azrael2000 - You need to be clearer about what you're trying to install for the user and on what. one-X Mobile, one-X Communicator, one-X Portal, one-X Desktop Phone. Avaya put one-X in front of a lot of product names but it doesn't necessarily mean they are related to each other.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

...and they clearly didn't learn from it and are now sticking Equinox in front of everything!

Hi sizbut.

The user who is not showing up is a one-x mobile; they have the one-x client on an iPhone (actually they use a bunch of iPhones).
One of the differences I found between one of the working iPhones and this user is he / she / it is in a group; the working ones I can find are not.

I am tempted to turn off the one-X mobile on the 9608 user phone, save it, wait a couple of minutes, and turn the stuff back on.

If that doesn't do it, delete and re-add.

Update: the removal of the power user / re add of power user did nothing.
Monday, delete / recreate.

Friday is Mr. Murphy territory! :-D
