Webhosting Issues.

Webhosting Issues.

Webhosting Issues.

I have issues on my Webhosting provider.
An old I.T guy on this company is missing due to his bank debt.

Since he's missing no proper turnover no passwords.

I reset everything on our networks.
But the only thing I having a issue is on the webhosting company.

and provide all the documents and even last 4 digit character of a credit card.

After providing a documents.
They keep asking me the documents are not cleared. Which is 100% Cleared a perfect soft copy of a documents. On this case of course i cannot take ownership because the details is wrong they said and not clear.

Second I provide the last 4 digit of credit card we used.
but they said it was wrong then I make a lot of tickets. But on our credit card statement it shows their company deduct a credit from us.
Then after that they found we're paying a different hosting which is NOTHING in THERE no files at all.

So I getting confused right now. And the only thing to retrieve the account is to make a legal action which is cost too much money.!
And I try one thing since I have our website except the cpanel account.
I put shell script. and IT WORKED.

But the important is the cpanel account i want to get the db, domain and other things.
The questions is it's possible to get the cpanel username and password when i already access the file server through shell??

I hope I'm on the right forums.
Thanks to anyone who could help.

RE: Webhosting Issues.

Payment may clear through your bank but it may not have cleared through their bank yet.

If the web host has a forum, check that to see how others in a similar situation may have handled it.

If you have the ability to put/run a shell script, you have the power to do most anything, including installing a HTTP interface to access (dump/download) your database.

RE: Webhosting Issues.

I think It's clear on their bank it's been a months since the last payment.
And they give me an update they said it's on another account they give me access on that account but it's nothing inside.

I check the reviews I don't have similar situation but the customer service is bad.

Ok I will check in to it.

Thanks! Cheers!

RE: Webhosting Issues.
