Crystal 2011 export multiple reports to one excel file on separate sheets

(OP)
Is there a way to export multiple crystal reports into one excel file on separate sheets?

So I have 5 crystal reports that I want one excel file with 5 sheets.

RE: Crystal 2011 export multiple reports to one excel file on separate sheets

The direct answer is no. But if you have one report that you want to five sheets and using some third party software, yes. Of course you could have one main report and five sub-reports (or no real main report and five subreports). But you would still need third party software to export to multiple sheets.

RE: Crystal 2011 export multiple reports to one excel file on separate sheets

Hi,

I’d export all of the five reports as .csv text files, to an empty folder.

Any competent Excel user could import the five .csv files into as many sheets.

Or a competent Excel programmer could very easily write a procedure to import each text file in a given folder into separate sheets.

There is no way to do this natively in Crystal. However, there are some third-party tools available that will do this. See http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html for a good list and reviews of what's available.
