BCM400 compatibility

Hello out there....

I've searched for compatibility charts to no avail...Would anyone happen to know if a Nortel M2616 station would work in a BCM400 system?

Many thanks!
David

RE: BCM400 compatibility

No, only M7XX series work on BCM's and Norstars, M2XX series work on the big brothers Options/Succession

Why is that? Do they use different protocols?

RE: BCM400 compatibility

One is a Key system and one is a PBX, both very different platforms....and same for Centrex too which uses the M5XX series.
