SIP Device and WebLM

SIP Device and WebLM

SIP Device and WebLM

We are deploying a server edition with remote IP500 expansion
We have put all the licenses in the WebLM server and all seems OK until we try to register a 3rd Party SIP phone.

When trying to save the config it failed as it said it could not acquire a Avaya IP Endpoint license.(which we at max)
I deleted another extension and managed to save the config.
The phone registers OK but when I try to make a call it fails with a 503 Service Unavailable and the message in monitor

Unsure why the licensing is not working correctlt

Anyone else had anything similar?

RE: SIP Device and WebLM

Have you configured the extension to use a 3rd party license?

RE: SIP Device and WebLM

Good point it was set to reserve an Avaya license!

Thanks for the pointer!

RE: SIP Device and WebLM

Stupid enough it does do that. I had this once too.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

RE: SIP Device and WebLM

Yeah, don't think I've ever had to do that before
We don't do much 3rd party SIP

RE: SIP Device and WebLM

Is this specific to Server Edition or WebLM?

Positive I didn't have to do this on our in-house when I set up SIP extensions for Xima skills based.
