How to tell if a motherboard supports UEFI or not?

How to tell if a motherboard supports UEFI or not?

How to tell if a motherboard supports UEFI or not?

(OP)
I know there are ways to check in the OS whether BIOS or UEFI is used to boot.
But what if all you have is the uninstalled motherboard?
This is an Asus M4A88TDV_EVOUSB3.

Thanks guys :)

Thanks HSM :)

I guess this confirms it.

Too bad. I was hoping it had it.

RE: How to tell if a motherboard supports UEFI or not?

Javierdlm001,
What is it that you think the EUFI will give you that BIOS boot won't?
I have 2 ASUS boards, one with EUFI and one without, but the only thing I 'Get' from the EUFI board is mouse control in the CMOS configuration... they otherwise support all big drives (I'm using 10TB drives in the box without EUFI), big graphics (I have a Radeon Pro Duo board with dual GPUs), I have 256gb memory (can take it up to 1TB...) so what is it that you think EUFI will give you that a "regular" BIOS won't?

Scott24x7,
You're going to laugh when I tell you. It's just so that I can install a booting GUI, to replace the present GRUB booting files I'm using ;)
Obviously it's not a big deal.
I was suspecting it didn't have it, simply because the installation I did for the GUI was not working. But I wanted to be sure.
