Hello,
can someone help with SW, FW,.. update files to a Mfim 100, (i think first to v5.6, then override command procedure, and then to v6.0 or v6,1)- was this correct ?
the Mfim has has the following v:
MFIM GS 95M E-5Gj Dec 11
Boot Version 1.0 Bf May 10
Kernel Version 5.5 Dd

iPECS 5.5 is a major release that effects the internal memory mapping of the system. This
requires the upgrade to be done in stages using a ‘meta file’.
The meta file will re-arrange the internal memory in readiness for the 5.5 system software.
The following files will be required:

• Set Admin and Maint Passwords in PGM 162 as you will need access to the full
System Management options.
• All steps in this document are carried out under the Maint password
• Please always take a backup of the system before carrying out any work on site
• We would recommend that you have access to your maintenance MFIM
The Upgrade Path
Deleting the exisiting files (1)
Under the System Management tab:
Select File System/File View & Delete

Click the `Select All’ option
Click `Delete’
Uploading the Meta File
Under the S/W Upgrade Tab:
Select File Upload
Browse to the Meta File and select Upload
ONCE THE FILE HAS UPLOADED, RESET THE MFIM
Deleting Existing files (2)
Under the System Management Tab:
Select File system/file View & Delete
Click the `Select All’ option
Click `Delete’
Uploading the new System Kernel Image
Under the S/W Upgrade Tab:
Select File Upload
Browse to the new System Kernel Image file and select Upload
ONCE THE FILE HAS UPLOADED, RESET THE MFIM
Uploading the System application Image
Under the S/W Upgrade Tab:
Select File Upload
Browse to the System Application Image file and select Upload
ONCE THE FILE HAS UPLOADED, RESET THE MFIM
