CLID pass through an ASM8

CLID pass through an ASM8

I am trying to determine if CLID info can be sent through an ASM8 to an analog port? CLID is working on a digital set but not through the ASM8. We think it's enabled everywhere it should be, but any ideas?

RE: CLID pass through an ASM8

I do not recall an ATA on a Norstar every passing CLID, I thought it was only the BCM's newer modules that could.

RE: CLID pass through an ASM8

The ASM's do not pass CLID.

RE: CLID pass through an ASM8

Thank you MooreTel. I don't recall built in Analog ports other than the ones used for the emergency phone etc. Is that what you're referring to? Do you know if an ATA is the same as far as not passing CLID? bummer, we need this to use with a Viper.
thanks again.

RE: CLID pass through an ASM8

ATA's as well do not pass CLID...
