2002p2 issue

(OP)
I seems to be having an odd issue with one our phones. The user is complaining of having her only work through the speaker, then randomly switch over to handset. She is also having issues with the phone not wanting to select the ringing incoming line, or when she picks up the handset, it doesn't select the primary line. At first I thought was just a faulty phone, cause hers looked a little used and abused. So I swapped it out with a spare, same issues, then I tried a known good phone just to make sure..same thing. I outed her phone and rebuilt it on a different TN, copied from her coworkers phone and she is still having the same issue. At this point, it's driving me crazy, am I missing something below that would be causing her problem, I'm open to suggestions.

RE: 2002p2 issue

Have you checked layer one? Take the phone to the switchport and test it there first.

RE: 2002p2 issue

I would check the curly cord for the handset (plugged in well at both ends, try a different one).

RickyPone - that is my next step
bignose21 - I've done that with 2 other phones
