Is there any setting on CM 5.2 to change the display to reflect Called Party on Avaya Deskphone?

Hi Joe,

Apologies, I might not be clear with my earlier description of the issue.

The actual issue is as follows :

When A (Avaya Deskphone) makes an outbound call to B (Cellular/Mobile Number) and when B answers the call, the display on A shows up as "Call is answered by A" instead of "Call is answered by B".

There is a parameter on outgoing tunk which says "display call is answered by" which is set to 'yes'. When we make it to 'no', then the display on A just shows 'A' instead of "Call is answered by A".

The requirement is that the display on A should show the dialed number which is 'B' or it should show "Call is answered by B".

Is there any other parameter in CM 5.2 to make this happen?

Thanks,
shivgalaxi

Please provide screen shot of your trunk-group programming, as well as screen shot of field labels and data on forms not on your trunk-group. This will provide someone with the trunk-group used for the outbound call. A screen shot of list trace station xxxx while making the call would be helpful as well.

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"

Hi AvayaTier3,

Please find attached document with the call flow of the scenario, Avaya PBX Traces, Trunk Group Forms.

I have mentioned 2 scenarios, 1st one when issue occurs & the 2nd one when the issue doesn't occur.

I would like to find whether the issue occurs due to some setting on SIP Trunks/Avaya CM or due to some setting on ACME SBC & SIP Server.

Please check & let me know if you have any trouble understanding the call flow & the issue so that I can try to explain in more detail.

Thank You,
shivgalaxi
