Excel 2007 - Comman Button does not work

(OP)
Hi there,
I have a weird one. I have an excel sheet that has a button that sends stuff to Sun Systems. Now if I open it up on a laptop the button works fine - opening on a desktop and nothing happens, the button does not depress...no data sent...nothing. Both on Excel 2007. I just dont get it...

any ideas anyone.

Hi there,
yes all macros enabled - settings look exactly the same - I have checked all obvious things. Just wont let you do anything at all - cant right click on it - nothing. Yet on Laptop works fine. I cant work it out - I even reinstalled Office.

Is your control an ActiveX object? Try a Forms control.

Check all the Security Center settings, there is far more to configure. You may open document in protected view or have activex controls disabled. See settings in https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc1789... and other chapters from the list on the left of this page.
