User permissions to modify extensions and hunt groups

User permissions to modify extensions and hunt groups

Hello Guys,

Need some help with setting user permissions to login to the Web Manager to modify only extensions, users and hunt groups. I created a service user and added it to the operators group and Business Partner (for Web Manager access). When logging onto Web Manager, I noticed that the account has access to modify other settings.
I created a new group and gave it user & group admin and Business Partner, but the account still has access to modify other settings.

Is there a way to restrict the service account to only have access to modify extensions, users and hunt groups via Web Manager?

Any help would be much appreciated.

RE: User permissions to modify extensions and hunt groups

create a new rights group with the things you want to enable and assign it to the user.
Business Partner has full rights to do anything.

to get the exact stuff you can or cannot do, open the security settings - go to the user rights and click on the help file.
There is a chart with the options that you have.

to program go into the rights group uncheck the Administrator and assign in the bottom pane what you want to allow
