Subreport Headers

Subreport Headers

(OP)
I have a report with three subreports and am trying to stop the subreport headers appearing when they have no data. Any of the three can have no data on occasions.

I've tried setting Can Shrink to Yes for the Report Header and Detail sections of each subreport but the headers always show.

Strange thing is if I open the main report, go into Design View then back to normal view the headers don't show any more.

RE: Subreport Headers

I would expect to not see anything if the subreport contains no data. I think you are in a Report View rather than Print Preview.

You're absolutely right Duane, it was in report view. Many thanks yet again, another thing to watch out for in future.
