Customising the Switchboard

Customising the Switchboard

Customising the Switchboard

First question is getting to the switchboard Design View. The only way I can find is from the Navigation Pane because there's no right-click option when the Switchboard is displayed. Is this standard?

More important, on the first page I've changed the 8th item 'Change Switchboard Items' to appear in bold, so it's clear to the user. On other switchboard pages the bottom item says 'Back to Main Switchboard' but it only appears in bold if it's the 8th. Sometimes there are fewer than 8 and it would be nice if their 'Back to Main Switchboard' items did also appear in bold. Is there a way or is this just a design limit?

RE: Customising the Switchboard

False alarm, sorry.
  • The form's Shortcut Menu property was set to No
  • I found the Switchboard Items table and changed the ItemNumber to 8 for all pages
This did the trick so sorry for the post.
