Suppressing Decimals if .00

Suppressing Decimals if .00

Suppressing Decimals if .00

I have a form with a Qty Shipped field on the form which is actually a Sum of Qty_Shipped for a Packing Slip item. I have run into a situation where I needed to ship decimals (.5 or .25) quantities. 99.9% of the time I ship in numbers with no decimals and I really don't want to format the field to show .00 on every line item. Is there a way I can display the decimals only when they exist, but whole number (without the .00) for the rest of the time? Thanks!

RE: Suppressing Decimals if .00

Hi GCL2007

Right click on the sum field and select 'Format Field', then click on 'Customize'.

In the 'Custom Style' dialogue box, click on the x2 button beside 'Decimals', enter the following formula:

If CurrentFieldValue = INT(CurrentFieldValue)
Then 0
Else 2

Hope this helps.
