Panasonic NS700 Remote access

Panasonic NS700 Remote access

Panasonic NS700 Remote access

how do i set up remote access on the NS700, to program name changes etc..
i have set it up on the network with a fixed IP address.
thank you

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

Set port forwarding in the router Wan IP:8080 to NS700 IP:80 and set a complex user name and password for both Installer and Administration
Or for more secure, Log in to a PC on the LAN with teamviewer and access the NS700 localy

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

I think team viewer via LAN is safer instead of exposing the PBX

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

We change the port https from 443 to another port and use port forward to that. It is as safe as anything. Plus a strong password of course

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

Can you not create a VPN user on the router?
Thats what I've always done.

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

Do same as OBT safe as houses pipe

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

To double up black list every ip except your offices on remote router doing port forward

RE: Panasonic NS700 Remote access

WhiteGooner, yes we do that too, and use remote desk to our office if we need access from outside
