IPOCC Distributed Agents

IPOCC Distributed Agents

IPOCC Distributed Agents

(OP)
I have successfully implemented IPOCC with IPO SE. However, I'm only able to add agents whose extensions are off the Primary Server. The user profiles of the expansion systems do not have the IPOCC Agent Type option in Telephony/Supervisor settings. Can agents also be off expansion systems, like an IP500V2?

Thanks.

RE: IPOCC Distributed Agents

No, all agent must be on the Primary server.

RE: IPOCC Distributed Agents

Anyway I suppose you can provide user login from any extension in the whole system, so you can set the agent user on the primary but login from the 500v2

The reference configuration document indicates that agents can be off expansion systems in an IPO SE configuration. It even says that agents can use digital phones, which warrants an an expansion system.

I figured it out... Quite simple actually - to add IPOCC agents to any expansion system of an IPO SE system with IPOCC, simply set the Contact Center type to IPOCC in the System tab of each expansion system. I was able to add agents using digital sets, and it worked perfectly.
