Grandstram Music On Hold

Grandstram Music On Hold

(OP)
I've got a customer that is migrating from their Grandstream Voip to a new Avaya IP Office. They have a custom message on hold wav file that I need to access and save to my PC or thumb drive so that I can load to their new digital MOH device. Is there anyone familiar with how this is done. I know that I have to log in to the web interface to access the MOH menu but I am unfamiliar with the procedure to do this. Thanks in advance.

If there is no "Export" feature then most likely you are out of luck unless systems like Asterisk where you can dig into the file structure and look for it.
I am guessing the client lost the file that was supplied to them in the first place.

Playing it and using a smart phone might record it ok in the proper environment.

It is possible in the later software. Under PBX Settings there is a MOH option. In there is the option to download individual greetings. If it is an early version, I would install the IP Office, record a temp greeting then upgrade the Grandstream using the firmware on the Grandstream firmware page and this would give you the option to download the file you need. Programming is done with a web browser. Chrome does seem to work better for upgrades I have found and you may have to go through a couple of versions.

IP Office Basic or Standard Mode???

Cody64 I'm pretty sure that it's an older version since they've had it for a few years. I will check with them. Where can I find instructions on logging in through the web browser? I'm sure that it probably requires certain permissions and log in credentials. I will also check with Grandstream support today to seek assistance.

Curlycord yes the client has no idea where the recording is. I thought about trying to record it using my smart phone as well. Thanks for your suggestion.
