Login session issues with HTTP headers

I need help on modification of HTTP headers as I am facing issue with login sessions with my php based website.

I have two different instances with similar LAMP setup on both.

Please check Expires headers in file attached, for www.local.example.com it shows a very old date "Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT" where as on www.example.com it's showing current date which causes cache not to expire login cookies and does not allow to logout from www.example.com, there is no such issue on www.local.example.com, configuration on both instances is same.
