Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

Does anyone know if there is any documentation for setting up Contact Recorder to when you have VM Pro running on Windows?
If have checked the Knowledge base with no success.

It appears to be the Handover folder patch that is causing us the problem.

We require DB integration which is why VM is on windows and the IPO is on 10.1 which is why we are using Contact Recorder.

Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

You need to configure the Voice Recording preferences on the Voicemail Pro to be SFTP to the appropriate folder on the server running the Contact Recorder, ie. SFTP using the Linux administrator account name and password. The Contact Recorder will collect from that local folder on its own server as usual.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

RE: Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

Hi Sizbut

VM Pro client on windows installed VMPro does not have the Voice Recording Tab within the Administration menu.

RE: Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

Damn, forgive me, almost 100% in Linux VM these days.

There are some commands to enable a Samba share on an application server that in theory you can then access using a Windows drive mapping share. Couldn't give any promises as to how reliable it would be and certainly takes you into unsupported by Avaya territory. Will have to play first.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

RE: Contact Recorder with Windows VM Pro

Apperently on 10.1 there is DB integration for Postgresql but not MDB.
We are currently investigating transfering the data from a MDB to a postgresql.
