1416 phone can't transfer

I have a user with a 1416 phone. When a second call comes in and she needs to transfer the first call before answering the second, it's not working. This seems to be a new problem.

I added another call appearance button. No change. I added Enable_OTT to the users source numbers. No change.

When the user tries to transfer, her screen does not give her the Complete soft key as it should. Her screen says DkPickup. Any ideas? Please and thank you.

Did you enable Reserve Last CA?

Yes, I forgot to say that I also did Reserve Last CA. However, I forgot I was dealing with a 1416 phone. I added the additional CA to button 17 which doesn't exist! Ugh. I moved it to button 16.

Now I have a partial resolution. The transfer works, but only when the user presses Transfer and dials the extension number. OTT does not work, and Transfer + the auto dial button does not work. It seems to only be a problem when a second call is ringing...any ideas about that?

You have to change the focus from the ringing call to the active call

While the 2nd is ringing, press Ignore. The 2nd call is still there, and will follow any coverage or overflow if the receptionist doesn't deal with the 1st call in time, but that 2nd call is now in the background and your buttons will work on the current (1st) call
