Re: Partner ACS Can't transfer incoming calls

Re: Partner ACS Can't transfer incoming calls

Re: Partner ACS Can't transfer incoming calls

Re: Partner ACS
One of my clients can't transfer incoming calls to any extensions. They use the usual method i.e. Answer call (doesn't put on hold), hit transfer key and the desired extension, hang up. Now calls don't go to any extension-just go blank
I have checked that do not disturb is not activated on any extension.

Any more ideas to troubleshoot the problem

System and voice mail is otherwise working

thanks for all your help as usual

RE: Re: Partner ACS Can't transfer incoming calls

Haven't seen that problem yet. Can you copy the settings from a known good extension to see if that resolves the trouble?

I love2 "FEATURE 00"

RE: Re: Partner ACS Can't transfer incoming calls

When you say "hit transfer key and the desired extension", are you hitting Transfer and dialing the 2-digit extension number, or hitting Transfer and pressing a button on your phone that represents the other extension?

I would bet that Transfer and 2-digit number works fine, because there's no way to over ride that function.

Your "Auto Intercom" buttons are probably missing. At the phone, Feature 00, press the button, press the Left Hand Intercom button and dial 2-digit extension number of the other phone. If you normally call that other extension with the Voice Announce feature, dial * and the extension number. And in use, you can even skip pressing the Transfer button, just press the Auto-Intercom button for the other user and the call will go on hold while your internal call to the other user is set up. Hang up for a blind transfer, or wait for the other internal party to answer, announce the call, and then hang up to complete the transfer.
