Blocking DID outbound but not calling name

Blocking DID outbound but not calling name

Blocking DID outbound but not calling name

I have a user who does not want her DID to be shown outbound but name is ok. I have tried a SIP profile but that ends up showing as anonymous (the caller ID blocking field is set to On but anonymous call block field is set to off). This is only for 1 user not many. Is there something in the SIP profile I can set or any other suggestions?

RE: Blocking DID outbound but not calling name

Just mask the caller id for that user with the main number. If you block it will show as anonymous since it doesn't match anything in the PSAP database

RE: Blocking DID outbound but not calling name

I don't really want any number to show, only the calling name.

RE: Blocking DID outbound but not calling name

Telco's need numbers to hit their system to be able to route calls. You might be able to work with yours to have them block the number and not the name.
