Hello All,

Here is the Scenario. We have a Separate DID for Customers that they call into and are asked to Enter Their Account Number (Phone Number) for Managed Services Customers

I set up the Module as so:

Call Comes into a Menu. Under the Touch Tones is their Account Number (Phone Number). When this is entered they hear a specific message of "Welcome _______________, Based on your service level contract with us, your call has been places in the Priority Queue"

This issue I am having is with the Invalid Entry. The Menu has "Invalid Entry" Checked that goes to a separate menu that gives the caller the option to re-enter their account number (Loops back to the origional Module), or press 0 if they do not know their account number.

When I test this and just enter in some random digits that do not match anything in the menu, the call just hangs. Dead air. Suggestions?

It depends on how it is configured.
A menu has outputs based on the number dialled, a invalid input and a time-out.
I suspect you end up in the time-out output.

I have build similar using a database where the account code is nine digits long
I have ?????????, time-out and invalid.
Invalid is never reached here as either the dialled number is not nine digits long or the caller dials a shorter number and ends up in the time-out.
I think the same happens to your setup.
