SCN and SIP trunk

SCN and SIP trunk

SCN and SIP trunk

Hello guys
i'm new in ip office
we have two ip offices connected together with SCN
the head office extension range is 200
the branch office extension range is 300
the head office also connected with communication manager via sip trunk

they need the branch office can call the system of communication manager via SCN

How can this be done ?

RE: SCN and SIP trunk

add a shortcode with the extn numbers of the comm manager and route it to the outgoing call ID of the trunk to the comm manager.

RE: SCN and SIP trunk

thanks man
but when adding the shortcode the line group id of sip trunk doesn't appear in the branch office
Because the sip trunk configured in the main office not in the branch office.

RE: SCN and SIP trunk

You send the call to the SCN trunk on the branch system

TheMain office system will then treat the info it receives as if it was dialled on switch & forward on as appropriate (this is also the way to have external calls break out form a remote system).

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
