Voicemail to email stopped working

IP Office 8.1 (95) with voicemail pro. Last week voicemail-to-email quit for all users.

Nothing in the config changed. The email provider says the settings haven't changed. The server's last updates were well before the issue started.

I checked/unchecked the voicemail to email setting for one user. I deleted and re-created the SMTP settings. We rebooted everything. No change.

I turned on Monitor and on the Services tab selected SMTP. After leaving a test message I don't see any indication that the system is trying to send the email. Are there other settings I should have checked? Any ideas??

If you are using vmpro, go into the smtp sender and check Logging. This will create a log that goes into the vmpro/vm folder and you can check what the error is.

Monitor will not show voicemail pro emails being sent. Voicemail pro has a logging feature for voicemail to email. Turn that on and check the log it creates as Telecomboy suggested it should give you some kind of clue of what the issue is.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Thanks to both of you! I turned on logging and sent another test message. It looks to me like everything is ok on our end. The VMP successfully connected to the host, authentication was successful. Back to the email provider. Thanks again!
