HELLO I'M GLAD I FOUND THIS FORUM,
I'M USING HP 3000 MPE/iX IN MY COMPANY AND IT'S NOT EASY TO FIND PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP YOU WHEN YOU HAVE PROBLEMS ESPECIALLY WHEN ALL THE USERS OF THE SYSTEM WENT FOR RETIREMENT WITHOUT LETTING ANY procurement guidelines

I REINSTALLED THE SYSTEM WITH A CSLT TAPE
AND RESTORED MY DATA FROM A BACKUP TAPE BUT,

WHEN I START MY NETWORK I TYPE THIS :

NETCONTROL NET=LAN1;START
NETCONTROL START;NET=LOOP


BUT WHEN I TYPE:
NSCONTROL START

HERE IT GIVES ME THE MESSAGE "DS SUBSYSTEM NOT FOUND. (CIERR 647)"

DO I HAVE TO INSTALL SOME SOFTWARE OR ACTIVATE SOME SERVICE???? PLEASE HELP
