Multiple apostrophes in Windows 10 Mail

Multiple apostrophes in Windows 10 Mail

Multiple apostrophes in Windows 10 Mail

Just for the fun of it, I decided to use Windows 10 mail. Works OK except for one thing. Whenever I type the prime/single quote character/apostrophe, I get a series of about 20 racing across the screen. This has happened on 3 machines so I don't think it is a dodgy keyboard. All other characters are OK.

I'll find out

It even happens when I type slowly and when I'm doing my usual 20-30wpm. Other than not using Windows 10 mail and not using words with apostrophes in them, does anyone know a fix for this?

RE: Multiple apostrophes in Windows 10 Mail

Easiest way around this is to type the email in notepad (which is tons faster) or wordpad and then cut and paste it into the email.

Thanks for sharing - how annoying.
