Cisco SPA Phones On UCx20?

Cisco SPA Phones On UCx20?

(OP)

I have a customer who is currently using an AT&T Hosted solution that they do not like.

They just got 8 Cisco SPA phones a few months ago so they would like to continue to use the phones. They are switching back to analog trunks.

Anyone install the Cisco SPA phones on the UCx successfully? Run into any issues?

Just trying to make sure this is a good route for them and allocate enough time for installation.

RE: Cisco SPA Phones On UCx20?

I believe the Cisco SPA phones use standard SIP, so they should work just fine. You can even run the 79XX phones on the UCx if they are running SIP firmware. :)

I spoke with someone who has set up several Cisco SPA phones via SIP on the UCx and he said it's fairly simple.
