Looking to see if there is any way of being able to use a 8410d phone and also pickup on Callmaster III calls. What I am trying to accomplish is one of my customer service personel is moving to a different position. I need 3 people that has only 8410D telephones to be able to pick up on any coming calls going into the customer service group acd calls. The problem is that the Callmaster requires the agent to login into the cms server so that the telephone calls cane be recorded and tracked. Is it possible to use a 8410D display phone and be able to pick up on the ACD calls coming into the 800 number. I tried using a generic account to log into the 8410D telephone but it doesnt let me. I've included this extention into the customer service groups and hunt group also. But no luck.Is there any way to go about what I am trying to accomplish or is it unduable. Im thinking its probably unduable due to the type of phones but I though I ask if anyone has attempted this. Thanks for your help in advance.

RE: Is this possible. Please read.

There should be FAC for login/logout. I guess you could login on the phone with a FAC (might need one for AUX as well). Also assign the proper buttons on the 8410D. Or did I get your question wrong?

RE: Is this possible. Please read.

Yeah.. this is simple. Just program the FAC's on the speed dial buttons: ie: login / logout / aux-work / aft-call / vu-display / etc... We used to use 8410D's with call-extenders for our agents to work at home. It should work without any phone. Older call-centers are not telephone specific in that sense. Anyone should be able to login into any phone, as long as they know the FAC for login, their Agent ID, and the FAC for aux-work to start taking calls, and as long as their agent ID is in the right hunt group, (at the bottom of the "change agent XXXX"screen). Good luck, hope this helps.
