edit/new options disappeared???

edit/new options disappeared???

(OP)
Hi ,
I have kind of a strange one. I opened an existing crystal report, but options aren't available. Select expert, database expert, new formualas, edit formualas, etc are all greyed out, but if I create a new report the options are there.
Any one have any ideas on how to get edit/new options back in my existing reports?

Thanks

RE: edit/new options disappeared???

Should check to see if the existing crystal report library is protected. And you have to migrate to a different working environment to make changes.

RE: edit/new options disappeared???

Staceyn,

Another place to look is in your report,
see if under File / Report Options / on the right-hand side you have "Read Only" checked.
