I saw that article. They can jack you from over 300 ft away. That's a large radius to try to protect. Well, when I was in Army Signal Corps they always told us that wire was more reliable than wireless (radio). Wire is much more stable with respect to interference, signal strength (vs line loss), and security (interference, jamming, interception, etc).
