ReportViewer 2010 to Reportviewer 2012

(OP)
I'm using VS 2010 SP1

I was running reportviewer 2010 but needed to go to 2012 so the active x objects will show up in IE 11. References, web config changes to updated version but on one of my forms I'm getting the following error

Compiler Error Message: BC30560: 'ReportViewer' is ambiguous in the namespace 'Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms'.

Now the new control works on another form. I can't figure out why this is happening.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

after fighting with VS for a few hours I had to remove all report viewers and replace them with the new version. that seemed to solve my problem. got to be an easier way to upgrade something like that.
