thread149-1611991: Scrunched up text box

I am having the same problem as reported in the closed thread above. I had to do a report very similar to an existing report, so I did a save as and started working on the new report. When I added a new text box and typed in the text and then clicked outside the box the text "scrunched to the left, as if there was no character spacing. if i copy and paste an existing text box, I can can change the text and save it and it looks ok. I am using crystal X1. see attachment

I opened a new report and added a new text box, worked fine.

Any suggestions on what setting might be stuffed in my report????.

RE: scrunched up text

Whenever I've had this issue, bumping up the font size has solved (usually from font-size 8 to 9 for me)
