WSUS no computers reporting

WSUS no computers reporting

WSUS no computers reporting

I was running WSUS on windows 2003 (I inherited management of this server). I dumped this server and installed Windows server 2012 and WSUS. All updates have been synchronized but no computers are reporting. I've kept the same computer name. An active directory group policy defines where the computers report. I've done wuauclt detectnow reportnow re-started services ect from a client. firewall is off on the server.

RE: WSUS no computers reporting

Fix the problem. turned out I had to specify the port number 8530 in the group policy setting.
