Scheduled Network BAckup Not kicking off

I have weekly network backups scheduled however; it never kicks off. No "operation failed" messages in the log file. This was working a couple of weeks ago and now all of the sudden nothing is happening.
The scheduler is set correctly. It just does not even make the attempt. Should I reboot? How can I verify what patches are loaded?

From the CP server, can you see the share directory on the backup device?
