Raspberry Pi 2 is on sale. In addition to running Linux, this will also run Windows 10. To get Window 10 for free, you will need to be a member of the Windows Developer Program for IoT.

It is only the IoT release of Windows 10 that will run on the PI2 not a full blown desktop

this may be useful for hardware developers but most users would probably be best served by sticking with one of the other operating systems. Popular staring points are:-

Raspian
Arch linux
Risc OS.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
