Does windows server 2008 r2 replace windows 7 when asked to upgrade windows?
(OP)
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to install a 180 day trial version of windows server 2008 r2. When I try to install it, I get 2 choices, 1 asks to Upgrade: Upgrade to a newer version of windows and keep your files and programs.... The other is Custom(Advanced): Install a new copy of windows...
I just bought 2 computers with Windows 7 specifically to install Windows server 2008 r2 to use with the Training Kit: Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory. It's only an evaluation 180 days and I won't need it after that. I just need it to take the certification exam.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
