I have zero experience with ASP.

In previous years I have had a html file to work with.

I have an ASPX web page that I need to add a hyperlink to. I have a .gif image that I want to display and the viewer can click to access the hyperlink.

I will be editing the aspx file from notepad.

My image is titled "18130_Square.gif", the URL that needs to be accessed is "http://www.iscwest.com/DGP372". The image file is in the same folder as the aspx file.

What exactly do I need to do to make this happen?

RE: Add Hyperlink to aspx file

This line of code;

CODE --> HTML

<a href="URL"><img src="image-URI" ></a>

Has always worked for me when linking an image.

It also works in PHP script documents as well.

By the way .aspx is a ASP.NET framework script not ASP

Chris.
