Hi All

Very quick question - Can Lync be installed for Video conferencing without SIP trunks?

We'll be installing SIP next year but the board members are asking if we can get a VC Lync solution in now.

cheers

RE: Lync without SIP

SIP trunks from a PSTN/ITSP SIP trunk provider is typically only used for voice. As long as you have data connectivity you should be able to do Lync video.

RE: Lync without SIP

We use Lync 2013 without SIP trunks. We can host video conferences and even do Lync to Lync audio calls.

I hope that helps.

Mark
